Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
The Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce, a dynamic 501(c)6 membership-led organization, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and advance its mission of advocacy, networking, and business education. With over 50 years of history, the Chamber is recruiting only its 5th CEO to oversee operations, membership growth, and strategic partnerships that support the local business community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise Chamber staff and oversee all Chamber operations, programs, and events.
- Manage marketing, budgeting, accounting, and financial oversight for a $400K+ annual revenue entity.
- Serve as the Chamber's primary representative, fostering relationships with business leaders, City officials, and regional stakeholders.
- Support and guide the Youth Enrichment Fund (YEF), ensuring program sustainability and growth.
- Drive membership engagement, retention, and value enhancement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Preference for graduates of the U.S. Chamber's Institute for Organization Management, Western Association of Chamber Executives Academy, or Certified Chamber designation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Proven experience in board governance, economic development, and policy advocacy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with City Council, City staff, and local government leaders.
- Financial acumen to create and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal health and sustainability.
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected CEO compensation range is $72,000 to $88,000.
