President’s Corner

It's been 11 years since I opened my business, GILMAR Automotive Group in the City of Santa Fe Springs. Soon after opening, I decided to join the Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce and was eager to discover everything that chamber membership had to offer. I quickly discovered it would be the best business decision I could have made. The opportunities and exposure I have been given from this organization is a true testament of what community involvement really means.

I am so proud and grateful to be the next Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce President and look forward to an exciting new year. This is going to be a year of growth, new endeavors and productivity, all while keeping the heritage this Chamber of Commerce is so well known for. With the help and guidance from our new Chief Executive Officer Mr. John Wilson, the remarkable Chamber Staff and my new Executive Committee, my commitment to this business community is to represent all of you equally and celebrate your success. I am proud of the relationship we have with the City of Santa Fe Springs and look forward to strengthening that bond to bring more and more businesses to our city and drive this chamber forward.

In conclusion, I want to recognize our outgoing Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Kathie Fink a joyous retirement. Kathie gave 27 years of dedicated service to our business community and will be truly missed.
